Engineering Services - Environmental Policy

"GKN Aerospace Engineering Services (the Company) is a provider of office based, IT centric, design engineering and associated support services to a global market.

In the conduct of its business the Company is committed to the protection of the environment and will, consistent with the requirements of the GKN Aerospace divisional policy, maintain and continually improve the Environmental Management System (EMS) to reduce its environmental impact and to prevent pollution.

The EMS is an integral part of the Company 'Business Management System' (see procedure P27). It is based on the requirements of ISO14001, GKN Plc and applicable environmental legislation. The Company is committed to complying with these and other applicable requirements related to its environmental aspects. The EMS provides the framework to monitor, maintain, review and improve Company performance against set objectives and targets.

This policy applies to all persons working for, or on behalf of, the Company, including permanent staff, sub-contractors (Engineering or Administration) and contractors (Facilities/ Maintenance)."
