GKNAES 'Working Together' with BAE SYSTEMS on the Harrier support & upgrade Programmes
Through 'Working Together' GKN and BAES have set up a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers to support both In-service aircraft and the new Harrier capability upgrade from the Harrier GR Mk 7/7a standard to a Harrier GR Mk 9/9a std. This team is jointly managed by BAES and GKNAES to provide quick and flexible solutions to the Harrier Programmes on going support requirements, activities undertaken by this team are as follows:

The GKN Harrier IPT presently consists of a core team of 23 personnel acting as the front office into GKNAES with additional support being provided at Weston-Super-Mare, Melbourne Australia, the aim of this team is to provide a flexible one-stop engineering solution to the BAES.
