GKN CEDU Ltd ("GKN Aerospace Engineering Services") is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit and use our website. Our recruitment website pages may be used only for lawful purposes by individuals seeking employment and career information. This policy aims to inform you on how we will use any personal data which you provide through this website/the recruitment application facility and your options concerning the ways in which it is used.

All personal information given to us through this site will be held and used in accordance with this Policy and the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.  By using our website and submitting your application, you signify your agreement to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.  Please read this page carefully.

We will keep and use your information for recruitment purposes for a period of 12 months, unless we specifically inform you otherwise.  During this time, your information may be held in a database in order for us to manage the recruitment process. We will use the information you provide us for the purpose of processing and assessing your application for employment with us.  Your information will be used to assess your application for the role to which you have applied and may also be used to assess your application against any other roles that may suit your skills and experience.  We may also use your information to assist us with collating recruitment statistics to monitor the success of our recruitment campaigns.  We may contact you via email, post or phone to notify you of the outcome of your application or to inform you about other vacancies that may be of interest to you.

We will ensure that your information is accessed only by authorised persons. We do not disclose your information to third parties, except where we may be legally required to do so.

If you have submitted your details to us and wish us to remove your details from our records, please email human.resources@ukes.aerospace.gknplc.com.  We will remove your details from our records within 10 working days of your request.

Please note that the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time.  If we make any changes, we will post notice of these changes on our recruitment website pages so that you can stay informed.

The information I provide in my application to GKN Aerospace Engineering Services is correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.  I agree to you processing my information for recruitment purposes.  I undertake to notify you of any changes to the information provided whilst my details are being held by you for consideration for employment.
