Weston-super-Mare
The Weston-super-Mare (W-s-M) office provides a focal point for European based GKNAES operations and is ideally located to provide engineering support to a number of key UK customers, including:
- Airbus UK operations at Filton.
- Marine engineering operations.
- AgustaWestland operations at Yeovil
Current projects supported include, A400M, A350, A380, EH101, Lynx, AB609, AB139 and Sea King.
W-s-M is also the central hub for the development of IT infrastructure / applications and the operation of the GKNAES WAN, which provides links to key customer sites and other GKNAS / GKNAES sites and supports remote working capabilities.

GKNAES currently utilises the following customer engineering business tools and skill sets: Ansys, Anvil 4000, Autocad, BCAWD, BEASY, Catia NC, Cadds 5, CADAM, E3D, GD&T, Knowledge Based Engineering / ICAD, MSC Fatigue, Nastran, Patran, PEGS, PC Demis, RAMS, RAPID & Varicut.'
